Full Stack Developer
A hands-on development role. You'll build and ship our web, iOS, and Android apps in Flutter, owning the mobile experience end to end from requirements to store release, and making AI features reliable and fast for people on the move.

About the Role
Power Tech Nexus is the product company of the Power Tech group. We build and run our own AI-driven software products for businesses in Australia and the region. We are a small team growing deliberately, so every hire shapes how the product and the engineering practice turn out.
Our apps bring AI features to people on the move, so reliability on poor connections and a clean, fast interface matter a great deal. As Full Stack Developer, you'll build and ship our web, iOS, and Android apps in Flutter, and possibly React Native. You'll own the mobile experience end to end, including gathering requirements, building the code, working with AI coding agents, and managing store releases.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain cross-platform apps for web, iOS, and Android in Flutter and Dart, and in React Native where a project calls for it.
• Own the mobile experience end to end, from gathering requirements through building, testing, and release.
• Use Claude Code or an equivalent AI coding agent to deliver quickly, while reviewing and taking ownership of the code it produces.
• Own the user interaction, building clean, fast interfaces that work well for people on the move.
• Build offline-first features with local storage and reliable sync, so the apps keep working on poor connections.
• Integrate with backend APIs, authentication, push notifications, and in-app subscriptions.
• Write widget and integration tests and set up mobile CI/CD.
• Own the release process for the Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Work with the frontend engineer to keep web and mobile consistent.
• Work as part of a wider team, liaising with the design, architecture, security, and DevOps teams.
Must-Have Skills and Experience
• 5+ years building production apps, including Flutter and Dart apps you have released to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Strong UI development skills, with a track record of building clean, fast, and intuitive interfaces.
• Experience building offline-first features with local storage and reliable data sync.
• Experience integrating apps with backend APIs, authentication, push notifications, and in-app subscriptions.
• Proficiency with Claude Code or an equivalent AI coding agent in your day-to-day work.
• Experience writing widget and integration tests, and setting up mobile CI/CD pipelines.
• A collaborative approach, and clear written and spoken English for working with design, architecture, security, and DevOps colleagues.
Desirable Skills
• Experience building and releasing apps in React Native.
• Web front-end experience with Flutter web, or with React and TypeScript.
• Back-end development experience, such as building APIs in Node.js or Python.
• Experience integrating AI features into mobile apps, such as LLM APIs and streaming responses.
• Experience with mobile accessibility and performance profiling.
Education
A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
